This is a picture of DH and me taken 35 years ago yesterday. It was the 70s, so of course everything was earth-tone! We had a very small wedding, no more than 50 people at the ceremony, and we only served cake and punch afterwards. The wedding did seem to take, though.
(Neither one of us looks like this any more!)
We had a lovely day yesterday, with both daughters home for dinner, and the grand-kids. I finally started getting caught up on my hug deficit. I had thought of kids and grand-kids when we got married, but never imagined how much love I would feel for (at the time) potential offspring. At one point this weekend there was a possibility that they would not have been able to make it to dinner; that would have ruined the whole anniversary celebration!
I love you Sweetie! Thanks for a wonderful life, and looking forward to many more years.

Wow! Congratulations!
Great picture. We will be 35 in September, now that I think of it. Sounds like you had a great day!
Congratulations! We will be having our 43rd on Wednesday. We won't even see each other that day, but we did spend some time with family last weekend, and will be spending time with old friends (best man at wedding) this coming weekend.
So wonderful to see two people together still!!!! So so happy for you both.......19 for us this year...but our first date was in 1971!!!!!!! How is it possible??!!??
35 years ago SEEMS like yesterday! The two weeks prevvious were the most fun I ever had sewing: wedding dress, two bridesmaids dresses - in two weeks, no cooking, no planning, no grocery shopping, nothing but sewing! Never happened before or since.
