I'm on vacation, in Arizona!

I mentioned I was going away on vacation; We are enjoying lovely 60 and 70 degree weather in Arizona. People here have their furnaces running, and are complaining about the cold, but DH and I are really enjoying it.

We left the Chicago area on Monday morning, with temps in the 20s and the threat of snow. We arrived in Phoenix about 4 hours later on a lovely day. Even the inside of the airport was filled with sunshine!



We have been enjoying ourselves. We have done some shopping. (I hope to share pictures later.) We have gone out to eat several times. This is a picture of Garcia's, a very nice Mexican restaurant, decorated around the idea of being a traditional Mexican house. This is the "courtyard" complete with chicken coops and a balcony. The food was delicious too.



This vacation is going to be over way too fast! I will save our adventures of yesterday and today until later.
