Vacation, day 1

We were so excited to get going on our vacation, that we reached the station a couple of hours early. Everything went smoothly checking in, and we were directed to the "First Class" waiting room. (!) We didn't know that reserving a roomette put you into first class!



It was crowded when we got there, but by the time our train left, it looked like this. Our roomette was room 8 in car 331; we learned that because we had to sign the menu ticket with that number at lunch every time. We left right on time.
