Knitting and reading

I am still plugging away at my lacy shawl. I measured this morning, and I am up to 6 inches! Even more exciting is that it only took 45 minutes to do my 4 rows... if I continue to improve I can maybe do 8 rows in the morning! I am really enjoying this knitting.

I am also enjoying my reading. I am done with Outlander (700 pages), Dragonfly in Amber (850 pages), and Voyager (980 pages), and now I am reading Drums of Autumn (1000 pages). I am not quite half-way through the series. Jamie and Claire have just arrived in North Carolina, where they eventually settle, and participate in the Revolutionary War. (There has not been a whole lot of stitching going on.)
