C had picked out a pattern from one of my books; I wrapped the temari and marked it in the pattern she had requested, but then I put it away. When she was over this weekend, she remembered that she had an order in, and asked how it was coming. She was a little surprised when I handed her the mari, and told her to go ahead and stitch, but was willing to give it a try. She concentrated on it for a good long time, and we got 2 or 3 motifs stitched. She was getting a little frustrated, because it was not turning out quite the way she wanted it to, but she kept at it.
She brought it to me a couple of times to get things back on track and kept stitching; I was very proud of her.

I should finish it up before the weekend. (Don't tell her, but I took out most of the stitches she put in.) I was very proud of her willingness to try, and it is actually going to turn out very nice.

she's beautiful! So much fun. One of the biggest joys, sharing our arts/crafts with our babies!!!
What a cutie, she looks really focused.
Oh, she is so sweet! Get 'em while they're young.
