I've been stitching away on this temari, but there is a lot to do. I finally finished the flowerets, now I am looking for the right green to stitch the grassy leaves. I don't have a pearl #8 that will work, and I think #5 will be too big; I should probably look for floss. Once I find the right color the stitching will go quickly.
The silk ribbon arrived several days ago.
DH took this picture a couple of nights ago. You can see my lap full of three cats. Fortunately they were too sleepy to be interested in my thread, plus they know if they start playing with it they will end up on the floor.
Their foster mama (DD2) is not here any more, so I think I have been adopted.

Looks good Jane! What thread are you using for the metallic?

Beautiful temari - and such sweet furbabies : ) Hope to see you this weekend -- I'm planning to be there Sunday from 10-2ish
That is looking terrific! It sure does look like it takes a lot of stitching - but well worth the effort. Can't wait to see the next step.
