I received this pattern in the mail this week, a give-away from Mark Saastad, the designer, through the Yahoo group of his fans. I love his florals, and have 3 or 4 WIPs. I don't think I will be starting this soon. I haven't been doing intricate stitching like this lately. This pattern calls for 56 shades of blue and green, in both Anchor and DMC.

I took this picture yesterday morning, to have a benchmark. I want to be able to tell how much difference I can make in a week and 1/2 of concentrated stitching. I'm planning on stitching on this until I go back to work.

I already know, after yesterday, that you will be able to see the difference.

Your benchmark is beautiful! Holy cow! 56 different shades of blue and green?!? LOL, I'll bet it's gorgeous when it's done.
