Beaded Stars

I really like these beaded stars. You need 12 crystals and then a coordinating bead. I've used regular seed beads, delica beads, and even bigger beads, and they all turn out. This was my Christmas present project a couple of years ago. I made over 30 of them and gave most of them away. You would think I would know the pattern by heart after making so many, but I always have to check.

They turn out a little floppy after you stitch them, but then you use an acrylic floor wax (dunk them in it, and allow to dry on something that won't stick)and they turn out beautiful.

I taught this project at guild, and many of my friends make and enjoy them now too.

I love these stars. They look like snowflakes and make lovely Christmas ornaments. Wish I had known about your workshop!
