Happy birthday to the Blog!

There were no comments on my last blog post, so I will not be giving away any of the stitch marker sets.

DH and I bought one succulent pot, and liked it so much we built ourselves another. They are very beautiful this year. Three of the plants have flowered this year. Aren't these coral flowers pretty?

This "purple" plant is taking over this pot. The plant in the front has been sporting pretty little yellow flowers.

The plants in these pots remind me of my grandma's house. She had a south-facing wide windowsill that was always crowded with house-plants, including a healthy pot of hen-and-chickens that always interested me.

I certainly have enjoyed blogging the past five years, and I love the fact that I have the diary of my handwork during that time. I wish I had started 20 years ago!

Happy blog birthday, Jane!

I would have commented on the last post, but I'm not a knitter and I can't figure out how to use these in my needlework. They are cute, though.

Wow !! Five years....that's wonderful!! It is a wonderful way to follow yourself .....a pictorial of work and thoughts at the time....that was for me an unexpected part of it...
I thought it was all about learning from others..which it is...but as you say a dairy of your own time..
Your succulent pots are's been so hot here they may be the only things I grow!!!
Wishing you many more years of fun!!

Happy Birthday to the blog. I was going to leave a note, but I don't hand knit, so didn't want to take a gift I wouldn't be able to use!! I love the planters, they're really nice. The chicks and hens are faves, they have taken over one of my gardens, I've given a large bunch of them away to a friend.
Best to you!!

Happy Birthday to the blog. I had planned to comment but time got away from me during these last few very busy weeks. Congrats on the anniversary! I really enjoy your blog.
