Sugarplums
Here are the sugarplums at the bottom of the stocking. The lollipops are strips of felt rolled up together, the ribbon candy is strips of felt folded back on themselves and stitched. All the items in this section are very 3-dimensional. It almost looks like you can pluck them off and eat them, but of course, if you tried you would just get a fuzzy mouth.
You can see that I was able to start stitching on the first foot of the fairy. I've completed parts up to 74; there's about 33% left.
Over the years I've accumulated many embroideries from around the world, and I thought this would be a good way to share and describe my treasures, including some I've made myself.
